Mac and Cheese

I’ve just ordered Mac and Cheese in the BA First lounge. It doesn’t look like macaroni to me. It’s more penne:

Isn’t macaroni tubular / elbow shaped and square ended?

I stand to be corrected.

If this dosen't bring Alex down I don't know what will!

But does it really matter? You got pasta and cheese - maybe chef picked up the wrong bag of pasta - which is better that saying "we run our"

Not exactly the kind of pre-Iron Curtain Soviet attitude one would expect in a first lounge...

If you think that is a bad description of food you should try more of BA’s different types of Indian curry.

Definitely Penne.
These are Maccheroni (rigati):

However, I think a lot of people doesn't know how to identify all the various kind of pasta. And since Mac & Cheese has basically nothing to do with Italian food/recipes, I don't think the wrong kind of pasta is a big deal after all

Doesn't matter. Post Brexit spaghetti will grow on trees again and the only place you'll get to see them will be on BBC documentaries.

Squirt the ingredients through one mold and one has penne and through another and one has macaroni. Cooks the same and tastes the same.

Need to focus on the more important things in life such as the thread count in the hot towels and the stock used for paper boarding passes.

Just saw a plate in passing and looked pretty disgusting. BA burger for me.

But GF is very busy tonight. Time to raise the qualification criteria for gold and keep the riff raff out.

The CityFlyer truffle mac and cheese with garlic sautéed wild mushrooms uses rigatoni but is no less deliciously artery-hardening as a result.

Something needs to be done. It resembles a zoo most of the time with barely anywhere quiet or secluded to relax or work before a flight. Either they need a bigger lounge or they need to raise the TP threshold.

I'm more concerned about the lack of bacon with the mac and cheese!
