GGL Survey received today

"Dear Mr TT1F, The British Airways Executive Club are committed to improving your experiences as a Gold Guest List Member.
As such, we are conducting this short survey to understand more about your current experiences, and how you feel about the benefits currently offered as part of your membership."

I don't think that I have ever had a survey specifically about GGL before and I guess it's good that BA has created the survey.

I had to chuckle when answering the question about recognition, however... "when have you been recognised as a GGL, at time of booking, on arrival at the airport, on arrival at the lounge (all Never).... onboard (rarely) .... everything else (never)" .

Good that there were lots of opportunities to provide freetext answers as well

Yes, just received the same survey. Will take the time out to complete this one I think.

One of the first times I've spent time on a BA survey.

A good section about whether you've had recognition from AA/IB - especially compared to any sort of recognition at the airport from BA.

I wonder if anything will change.

Wouldn't think so. And AA will remain streets ahead.

Well, they said they're committed to improving our experiences as GGLs, so allowing my hope level to reach about 10%

I have to say that the partner cards (which I do use) and the 5 guests (which I haven't ever used) were good improvements without them (yet) having taken anything away.

I am not bitter as a GGL/CCR card holder not to have received this survey.

Hopefully there are not too many negatives above.

Hopefully the Concorde Team for GGL members is the first part of phased improvements. I would like to see a GGL boarding group (group 0) and will be referencing that in the survey shortly.

Spam/junk folder perhaps? Or it's possibly a phased/scheduled email in batches. Or of course it might just be a subsection of GGL but I'm be surprised about that given the relatively limited numbers and usual percentage of survey respondents.

I only received it 90 mins ago so there is plenty of time - yours may well be in the post I actually quite liked the questions which for a BA survey is unusual.

I mentioned GGL boarding (Group 0) as I am travelling from MAN far too much at the moment and they board Groups 1-3 together which can mean that it's very possible to be 50th+ to board if you don't leave the lounge sharpish

Also had this (arrived in my inbox at 15:00 UK time if that is a helpful data point to anyone). I thought it was pretty well-constructed and look forward to seeing/hearing if anything changes for the better. It is certainly good that they have asked!

I'm a bit concerned, but I hope I am just overly suspicious. I did complete the survey - noting that it's not anonymous, just "confidential" (whatever that means).

If we say we value certain benefits, are we just admitting that they can raise the bar and we will "work harder" (as United said 1K's would have to do - their actual words) to retain the same benefits?
