I am a low value GGL/CCR. Without expecting it I received an email from the LAX Concorde team the day before I was due to travel from LAX to LHR in F. I was travelling from Honolulu to connect with BA. There was a problem from HNL but no follow up from BA. The AA staff in HNL were superb and sorted me out. Zero follow up from the Concorde team was disappointing. It would have been better if I had received no contact from the Concorde team.

Sorry it was a get on go to sleep job, a few empty seats in my immediate vicinity but did not pay attention to the rest of the 777 dorm.

Tks for the update - your right sleep is the priority! 😀 I am based in Philly and flights according to Expert Flyer look very quiet. Especially lower deck J on 744 over the next week or so as company travel restrictions kick in.

A few weeks ago, I flew AA from PHX to LAX and was indeed “surprised and delighted” to be escorted onto the plane by a member of the AA Concierge Key team and introduced to the cabin crew as “a BA VIP”. She gave me the impression that this was a change to their policy and they were now offering this service to GGLs. She may have meant just in PHX, and I didn’t ask.
I’m currently at MIA waiting to board another AA flight. No sign of the CK team anywhere. I asked four separate members of AA staff about CK service to BA GGL members and they all looked at me as though I was deluded (to be fair, I am a bit) and made it very clear that CK service was not available to me. (#OhTheShame)
I’m a 97 CIV-er so have now learnt my place and will manage my expectations accordingly.

Despite the thread title, it's not specific to ORD and it's certainly not consistent.
Consistent Concierge Key treatment at ORD for BA GGL

Managing Expectations
TobiasUK gave - upthread - what I thought was the deal.
My experiences are in-line with his comments.
As a mere GGL/CCR I had no special treatment from the Concorde Team. Since crossing the 100k TP threshold earlier this year I have been met, with one exception, by a member of the Concorde Team and either escorted from A gates to Fast Track immigration, or whisked by car from C gates to T5A (I’ve not had a B gates arrival of late).
And, before someone asks, the service was provided automatically by BA. I certainly wouldn’t be so presumptuous to request it!
Long may it continue.

As an aside, having an Expertflyer subscription was very useful as I went for the last available seat in F on the 268 before it was absolutely clear I would miss my connection which did finally happen.
