Economy pre-order meals

Hello, has anyone tried the pre-order meals in long haul economy, just wondering does it worth paying the extra £18 for it? Thanks.

I was looking at this as well.

What’s the difference between the standard meals?

I haven't, tried as have an economy flight in a couple of weeks but not available ex-LGW

I'd expect better food from the marketing at least

I was going to pre order the food on our recent trip to NYC but decided against it and glad I did tbh.

Thought the standard economy meal going out was really tasty, tandoori chicken was the option we chose on the flight and it was yummy!!

They are a big step up from the normal WT meals and certainly worth the money.

Here are my images;

I wish they would change them at some point. They have been the same for years....

Thank you for posting the pictures, they do look a step up from the standard WT meal. When were the pictures taken? Are those the cups they used to use it in CE?
