A decent plane on Bangkok?

Just booked a trip for next June, returning on BA10 from BKK on 14 June.

Obviously you expect the crappy, worn-out 777 (and I've had to do my outbound on the 777 to SIN so I'm already not happy about that!)

However, the return from BKK in Summer 2020 is currently listed as a four-class 787-900, with rows 1 and 2 showing in the Club cabin but not availiable to select. Surely there is zero chance of that sticking for a further nine months?

I hear you: Im sick of getting the clapped out 777 on the JFK route. Especially the flight that lands at 21h. Maybe Ive been unlucky but in F twice this year it was totally pooped. Especially the worn out IFE.
