LHR T3 Oneworld lounge access for solo premium economy traveller

Hello!

This is my only my second ever post, and thanks to everyone who helped me out last time on the AA area when I was looking for flights from LHR / UK to STL in the US. I was looking to fly business for the first time but ended up getting the last premium economy seat with AA from LHR to STL via ORD with return STL to LHR via DFW. My ticket is booked with BA but only the last leg being BA (DFW to LHR). The times are perfect for me and given I booked it only 3 weeks in advance of travelling I think I got a good deal as the agent I used pulled some strings and got me a more direct route for less than I was originally looking at going from mainland Europe to STL.

I really wanted to go business class and thought a trip to STL might wangle me a lucky deal as I know I had to connect but I couldn’t get a business deal for under £3k without it being a ridiculously awkward route, nor under £4.54K with Oneworld.

As I’ve now got a premium economy ticket it means I don’t get to use any of the Oneworld lounges at LHR T3. While I am on my way to getting tier status with BA I don’t have access to a lounge.

Does anyone know of ways I can get Oneworld lounge access at LHR T3 if I don’t yet have status or a business / first ticket?

Thank you

Tommy

I believe not, but there are paid lounge options available at T3 as well. No 1 and Aspire, Plaza and R&R.

I've not been in any of them unfortunately so can't comment on their quality but there may be info elsewhere on FT.

Without wishing to sound like the forum class monitor, you're not supposed to cross-post either.

To avoid duplication, we'll close this thread and invite discussion to take place in the active thread posted in the AA forum. The purchase of a day pass for the Admirals Club might be an option and the AA forum is the best place to find out more.
