Nothing on my JFK-LHR flight except the blue pillows, unless you count disembarking a 747 via steps, to relive the pre-jetbridge era.

That looks just so cheap and tacky I think it would have been better if they hadn't bothered with it at all.

Have just eaten mine. It was very nice!
Ate the little boxed victoria sponge last night and that was absolutely delicious!

Well, it turns out I was wrong. We had an excellent crew, were all given a chocolate and were treated to the excitement of an aborted landing and go around at JMK.

And to top it off, the pilot let me and my daughter sit in the cockpit and took a photo for us. She was thrilled. (A new experience for me too).

So all in all a great trip. The best bit is I'm on holiday now. ⛱️

I was talking about the packaging!

I'll see if I get anything at LCY tomorrow morning.

It's actually Hotel Chocolat if you look at the back, so no so cheap. Tasted great, nice gesture at the end of my flight.

Yes it is Hotel Chocolat and not a tiny rectangle- given the number of customers to provide this to, it was quite a nice gesture.

I really don’t get it? It’s a centenary birthday and 1 piece of chocolate is offered. It is quite pathetic and cheap of BA to offer this, especially to it’s most loyal customers.

To me a nice gesture is champagne EVERY TIME traveling economy on AY or bar drinks and snacks traveling Y on AA, just for being BA gold.

I said It looked cheap and tacky - so at the risk of repeating myself, I was referring to the packaging.. It's supposed to be a special occasion after all

I don’t think anyone is arguing about the wrapping, just commenting on the quality of the contents.

Lucky that I had that secret stash of leftover chocolates on board, wasn't it? Hope you enjoyed.

All 4 kids got given celebratory badges at the gate tonight for the 1404 LHR/MAN... The quality of them isn't amazing but I suppose its something....and it almost made the kids forget it was abis gate and a 30 min delay, lol
