Where's Jack [Daniels]?

Currently in LGW F lounge and disturbed to see that the usual bottle of Gentleman Jack is missing. I also noticed Jack was missing when in T5 GF last week.

The staff looked for him in GC and the "Alcohol Cupboard" but confirmed Jack was no more and had been replaced with Kentucky Bullet Bourbon at the start of August!!

Unlimited Jack has been a primary driver behind my BA status and just don't think Bullet Bourbon cuts it.

RIP Jack ... We've had many happy memories together

I took one of my work colleagues into the BA F lounge at LGW early in the summer, and his eyes lit up when he saw the Gentleman Jack.

I apologise profusely, I think he pretty much finished the lot!

That's it i'm bloody changing airlines! Delays, cancellations and crappy customer service I can live with but don't mess with a mans best friend

- - - I await the inevitable Jack Vs Bullet debate that is soon to break out

On a serious( ish) note is it not maybe just a supply issue? If @Alex6750 found some in the CCR last Sunday then it would maybe suggest they're just having trouble getting hold of the stuff as it's been quaffed by large numbers during the summer. Mainly I imagine by all the extra kids they keep letting at this time of year ( 5 guests / extra kids during the summer reference). When they have had supplier issues previously BA have been known to strip X product out of the club lounges first maybe it's so bad they're down to 1 bottle a day in the CCR until it's sorted. On that note im about to call you first and reserve said bottle for my personal consumption for the 28th so apologies in advance to anyone else who won't be seeing any of it

Much as I love Jack, I'm not sure he's worth another 3500 TP's per year!

I thought it already had in GLA lounge last week, but it had only been moved over to the whisky snug. Or is it whiskey for Woodford....? ; )

Im sure I saw a brown spirit switch announcement somewhere - Whisky and bourbon changing. The specific switch I recall was Bullet for Woodford, and I don't even remember GJ on the bulletin (pardon the pun).

I mean that just shows a clear lack of commitment, why did you even make the thread if you're not going to double down

Switching from a Tennessee whiskey to a proper Kentucky bourbon... What the problem is??

Much as I like Gentleman Jack I also like BULLEIT too so no problem for me. Is it going to be orange or green label?

I like a bit of variation on the whisky side but do miss the selection of Grey Goose vodkas.

I would assume Orange. I prefer the Rye.

Jack and I don't get along
