Connection to Mauritius on Comair
Will be booking a Club World ticket in the next few days to MRU via JNB connecting to Comair to MRU. This will be all on one ticket. Having flown on BA 55 into JNB several times, I've only arrived ontime 50% of the time. My question is worst case scenario, if BA 55 is late and we end up missing the connection to MRU out of JNB, will BA/Comair place us on either the later SA or MK flight to MRU assuming they have space? Again this is all on one ticket but since Comair only fly's to MRU once per week, I don't want to land in JNB having missed our flight and be told we are SOL. This ticket will actually be booked through AA if it makes a difference (don't think it does).

Didn't know comair flew hat route. Will be in SA next April ending up in jnb. I would be interested in extending my trip to mru.
What aircraft do they fly and how long is the flight?
