So the BALPA information was supplied by rank e.g. Captain, First Officer etc but not by fleet and this is fundamentally the issue in hand. Over 500 watching!

746 now but I have the spinning wheel of slowness

I have just found a cure for insomnia.
BA's counsel is trying to bore them to death.

MarkFlies Jul 30, 2019 3:45 am

BA said they needed the short haul/long haul breakdown for planning.

Good to know that 777 captains can now fly 380s.

And A320 pilots can fly 747's. :D

If you don't have any captains, you can't fly a plane anyway no?

Zzzzzzzz

It seems like he's clutching at straws from a very layperson's perspective. I am struggling to see how BA can make any contingency plans if they don't know what rank they've got available or not. Only once they know that data can they apply that to the individual fleets. The type ratings aren't interchangeable across types. What am I missing?

it's the court of appeal, what were you expecting apart from a lot of legal discussion and arguments :p
