Also, if the 77L gets subbed by a 77M "flub", and the flight is busy, as a GCH what are the chances of us getting moved into row 1/2 to make more room in the CW cabin?

Appreciate everyone's work on this thread! It's been really useful. 😊
You will never get a 77M on SFO, its going to be 77L or a -300ER variant. The 77Ms do not have the range to make SFO due no rest areas for crew.

See the FLUB thread for guidance. Groups not likely to be FLUB’d.
Interesting. Some airlines leave you in same seat if that same seat exists in the new seat plan.

Hi all, for what I gather, BA255 LHR-BGI is moving to CS for this coming winter, I'm flying on the return leg on 6th March 2022 but it still shows as a 4-Class non-refurbished one ... Do you know how long it takes for BA to update their seating plans ?
Many thanks in advance !

Thanks ever so much ! Looks like BA is not in a rush to change the seating map as it's still on a 2-4-2.

Hi there, am planning on flying to Nairobi in January, and was wondering what the likelihood the flight would have club suites Vs being club world. Currently there doesn't seem to be any consistency with what plane is used for that flight, so difficult trying to work it out.

Showing old CW at the moment operated by a 777. BA did previously state that all 777's would be fitted with CS by 2023 although i've no idea how far off they are going to be with this.

Another failed attempt to fly CS on LHR-JFK on 8/22, with a ying-yang substitution within 24hrs of departure. Adding insult to injury, I am shunted to an aisle in the dorm from a row 5 window seat in the mini cabin. I should just book AA and avoid the gamble until the updates are complete. Fool me once…

A YouTube blogger was confidently telling his viewers that the Gatwick 777 fleet will eventually get CS: Something I think is doubtful considering they've only recently (in BA terms) been completely refurbished , and wouldn't be able to accommodate as many J pax in the front cabin.

Indeed. MMA was only refurbished last month, appears to be little chance of a CS rollout at LGW.

Have all the Gatwick 777 fleet been refitted now to 32J and full cabin refits?

Yes - but they retain Club World vs Club Suite obviously!

My hot take: LGW will eventually get CS, but only when the 777-200ERs are retired. Whatever replaces them will have CS.

My theory is that BA will simply move over some older LHR aircraft to operate Gatwick routes and retire the older 777s. So there won't be a direct refit of the Gatwick fleet, but the Gatwick fleet will eventually comprise of ex-LHR Club Suite aircraft.
