Our thinking is either:

- 7 EF or 10 EF so we can be next to each other, see/talk to each other (just about) and easily walk through the galley to get to each other
- 14 AE or FK so we can be straddled across the aisle (but with seats seemingly misaligned and facing away from each other)

Cheers
whilst back of cabin may of been bassinet positions in 'old config' don't think they are in CS. I suspect bassinet in CS on 77L is Row 1 and Row 10 i.e. front of cabin. That seems to be where the 'flat surfaces' are that bassinet would go on. On A350 CS bassinet are 1K but not 1A and both the A&K seats in I think Row 15, front of mini cabin. On A350 galley is in front of Row 1 so assuming it is on 77L I think I'd go for 10A/E or 10F/K for easy access between suites unless 10E/F is also bassinet which would be ideal. Check seat maps carefully before deciding. If you've no status you'll get free seat selection at time of booking with a lap infant (and they'll get their own bed). Have a good flight

Would appreciate recommendations for best window seats in CW on a 777L. Do some seats have only 1 window? Which door is used for exit on arrival at LHR?

G-VIIH (B77M Config) has returned to Heathrow as of Aug 16th with 8F seats and new Club suite config. This means 13 out of 15 4-class B777-200ER planes have the new Club Suite with 1 in storage at Cardiff and G-VIIJ the last one with the old CW seat still in service.

Hi all,

I've lucked out with getting a refitted 777 on my flight to ANU next week.

This morning rows 1 and 2 became available for selection, is this the first class seat? Are rows 1 and 2 in their own mini cabin? Is it worth switching or should I stick with row 8?

Thanks!

If row 1 or 2 is available select it because it should be first class!

Just one word of caution. If BA decide the close off first class section between now and whenever you fly, then you will lose your row 1 or 2 seat selection and put back in CW cabin into whatever seats are left and your row 8 seats may not be available if someone else has chosen them. So if you are happy with that risk, go ahead and book row 1 or 2.

We had row 14 middle on the way there, and row 7 on the way back middle. First off it’s very hard to talk to your seat mate in the middle since they are so spread apart, so sitting in front/back of each other might not be a bad idea.

that being said, I preferred the mini-cabin and row 7. Or it seemed quieter behind in row 20-22

Does anyone know if G-STBD has been fitted with the new F seat (like STBM,N,O,P)?

I ran out of my expertflyer searches for the day. Go here, see the flight it operated, plug that into expertflyer and see if it had an F cabin. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/g-stbd

So go to expertflyer and check first class BA248 Aug. 20th. GIG-LHR

So why are rows 1-2 showing up on his booking if he’s in CW?

FLUB, first used as club if the route doesn't normally have F

Thanks for the info, it's my first time in a club suite, I guess I'd be pretty bummed if I got moved to a centre seat, maybe not worth the risk.

I guess the real question is if the F hard product is any better than the club suite? I've heard some people actually prefer the club suites?

The idea of a 2 row cabin at the front is certainly appealing though.
