I think it's all good now, I worked that out a little late. But of course change it if there's a better system.

Mrs Opalfruit is booked in F on BA52 tomorrow and has just had her seat swap to a 8-seat F cabin. This is a bit of a pickle, because she's travelling with an infant and had booked 4F - the 777 bassinet location, but the powers that be have moved her into 1E and she can't move. From the seat map, it looks like 2F is the refurbished F bassinet location.
Is there a BA office open right now? The US office closed at 8pm Eastern and it's 2am in the UK.

Called UK EC early in the morning, no dice, they can't move her - airport control innit, but the lad on the Gold line says that "all row 1 seats in F are suitable for a bassinet", which sounds like a training issue. Maybe all row 1 seats are bassinet compatible in this new layout? Sounds fishy to me.
At the airport they couldn't move her to the designated bassinet position, saying someone else was already checked in to that seat, despite that traveller not having an infant.
We're now hoping we can engineer a swap on-board.

Occupant of 2F refused to swap on board, as they wanted to sit with their partner in 2E. My wife now has to do a 10 hour overnight journey with a 7 month old without a bassinet. I appreciate that she's in F, but I'd expect the minimum standard to have a bassinet, as pre-booked. There were no other infants in the F cabin.

Apologies as dont want to create a new thread for this question and wasn't to sure where to post it. So if it needs to be moved please do.
Flying to Male from LGW on 24th Jan 2021 (date edited) in Club. When choosing the seats it displayed a CW seat map. Does that mean it wont be upgraded to Club Suite by then or are there plans to upgrade? Tried to figure out the registration to could check more details on here though couldn't. Flight number however is BA2043 and BA2042. Any help would be much appreciated.
As always thank you.
