Time for compensation Avios to post

Following issues with the entertainment system on a recent flight SFO->LHR both my son and daughter received emails which indicated they would receive 15,000 avois compensation. These points have not yet posted to the accounts (1 week later). Is this normal?

Have had them in a day or two. Never as long as a week.

Get your kids to phone up BA's call centre on the Executive Club line and mention that on a flight (may have to give the reservation number) the IFE wasn't working and that they received an email saying that they would be comped 15,000 Avios. More than likely it's gotten delayed or lost in the system and bit of a prod should hurry up the process.

Let me know how you get on
