Iberia award availability not showing??
 
Hi all,

I'm looking to book BOG to LON in August in X and availability is showing on Iberia and AA websites both at standard award econ level but BA is only showing business. I called gold line and told me flat out nothing available. I mentioned the other sites showing availability but got a clueless response of them being on "different systems". Any ideas on why they wouldn't be showing? The other way in september shows the same availability on BA site as AA and Iberia. Any clues??

I don't have any explanation as to why the BA site doesn't see the same availability as the IB site. I can also see availability on IB that's not showing on BA.

On 17th August there's even a blue class ticket available BOG-MAD.

Is there any reason why you can't simply book via IB?

Thanks - good to know I’m not going crazy! I don’t want to book via Iberia because I have a house account with all my points with BA and this booking is for my mother in law. Last time I booked long haul with Iberia they demanded to see the credit card that paid for the booking at the airport so we had to cancel and rebook through BA the same seat. Iberia generally a pain in the ... and i want to avoid. Plus the return might have AA flights so won’t be able to change or cancel the ticket booking with Iberia

I was looking at this again last night and ISTM that IB is only showing IB economy reward inventory on IB.com in the same way as EF only shows IB business reward availability, not IB economy.

When you look at the return in September on BA.com, is the MAD-LON sector on IB metal or BA metal?

Sorry for delay - the return was only showing on AA / BA mix for econ seats. Anything with Iberia was only showing premium or business. Looks like there’s a glitch right
