Has anyone flown SYD-SING with BA?

Hi, I wanted to ask if anyone has flown with BA from Sydney to Singapore? I have tried to find out carry on baggage allowance, but it's a bit airy fairy. On their website it says its " free allowance" , I rang the call centre they said I can take up to 23Kgs carry on & 23 Kgs checked in??? but when I see the website it mentions strict carry on dimensions which would hardly fit 23kgs, not that I'm planning to anyway...can anyone clear this up for me please.
Also, what is their onboard service like ? ( We're flying Economy )

Depends on the density of the objects in the carry-on. For example books can be dense.

Just look the BA web site. BA is more generous with carry-on weight compared to many other airlines.

One thin you have to remember is that you need to be able to put the cabin bag in the overhead bin yourself. I don't think many people would want to lift a 23 kg bag above one's head... (And you do need to think about what might happen if you drop it onto someone, including yourself, while stowing/removing it, so being sensible with what you put in there would be prudent.)

I often carry big heavy lenses in a compliant rollaboard. It will usually be above 20kg. I always lift it myself...
