Does BA redeposit travel together voucher if ticket is cancelled

I recently had to cancel an avios ticket for two that was booked via a travel together voucher. I got an email telling me I would get 69,000 avios back in 24 hours. Will I get back the travel together voucher?

I haven't got personal experience of this, but I believe the answer is that yes you get the voucher back, however it won't be extended beyond its original issue dates, the expiry date stays the same.
