Available seats don’t match?
I’ve got a BA flight booked through Iberia and when I try and book a seat, there’s no available seats on the seat map. It’s the same via MMB on Iberia, BA websites and BA app.
My partner and mum’s booking (also booked via Iberia) shows 8 available seats.
Confusingly, if i check the seats as if making a new booking, I only see 3 available seats and they’re not the same that my partner can see.
Anyone know what’s going on?
Im in Peru and the BA call centre is closed. Check in opens tomorrow night anyway but it’d be good to book the 3 of our seats together.

This is what you're seeing in action:

The fact that the booking was made via Iberia is neither here nor there.

Thanks, that kind of makes sense but considering that neither my partner, mum or I have status and this is the first time any of us have flown with BA, it’s not clear why we're being given different options.
interestingly, I changed the FF number from IB to BA yesterday and when i change it back to IB, I’m actually able to select a seat.
