'Apology' Avios - how long to reach BAEC a/c?

My partner and I have each been given 6.5k Avios (on 28/5) as an apology by BA Customer Relations following a recent disappointing experience in CW. How long, typically, should the Avios take to reach our respective BAEC accounts - no show as yet?

Instant.

Was this on the flight or after via the phone though?

I’ve had both on-board iPad-logged avios and those offered by phone. Don’t remember the exact time it took but definitely no more than a day or 2.

Ok, thanks. Perhaps I should complain about the delay - might get another 'apology' allocation! Lol

Are you eager to use them immediately?

Ipad ones have been within a few hours of landing for the last two instances for me.

My experience was on IPad and it took 2-3 days.

Don't need to use them in the short term, but always good to know they have reached our accounts so they can be used.

When I've made a complaint through the on-line form, I'd say that any Avios offered as service recovery over email are sent pretty much straight away once you've confirmed that you will accept this. I wouldn't expect it to take a week so would chase it up.

I have done so this morning and have now received the Avios into my account.
