Very early, about 18:30 from recollection. What does it say in Manage My Booking / Check-in / Other ways to check-in?

For anyone searching for this information in future, the website is not currently correct. Whether it’s usually the case or was just today, bag drop opened at 19:30. If you do find yourself arriving at the airport earlier than this, there is a very pleasant Centurion Lounge landslide in Terminal 1 so any Amex Platinum or Centurion card holders can relax here until bag drop opens.

About 3.5 hours before departure max. The time of flight fluctuates between 9 and 11pm depending on season. So between 5.30 and 7.30 for check-in accordingly.
Lounge is the old iberia lounge. Sapphire and emerald can also enter the admirals club but that closes 9pm as the US flights have already departed.
Departure gates vary. Can be right outside the lounge but can also be a good 10 to 15 min walk. They always advise at check-in and entry to lounge

It's actually really varied between 3.5 and 4.5 hours, depending on when the staff arrive. Last week they were still setting up but specifically let us F passengers drop their bags which was about 4 hours before.
