BA100: The Queen visits British Airways Thursday 23 May 2019

I think BA's staff have been asked to keep this under wraps, but it's in the Court Circular so it's hardly a secret any more. Her Majesty the Queen will be making a visit to see British Airways at Waterside on Thursday 23 May. Staff have been able to apply for tickets to the event. I was going to headline this as "a concerned local resident gives Álex a piece of her mind" but I suspect all will be sweetness and light. She can do fairly good imitations of the noises made by different aircraft types as they go over her back garden.

I suspect some BA100 initiatives may be unveiled at this event.

Smiling politely with a look of mild curiosity at the scones and then moving on is more HM’s style.

Maybe she will ask why one can't see all one's current bookings

Let's hope she doesn't have to log in! - "Sorry The page you're looking for has either moved or no longer exists."

I do hope they charge her £2.50 for a tea bag, a non-recyclable cup and tepid water.

I'm fairly sure when there was a documentary may have been BA or the FCO a few years back that the greatest concern was making sure the Dubonnet was loaded on the flight.

I thought her Maj and her late mother were both equally keen on Dubonnet?
