Booking award flight for two young kids +parent cash ticket?
Trying to book avios flight for 2 kids (>2yrs) but won't let me as no adult in the booking. Adult will purchase cash tix as soon as can guarantee the avios purchase

Would calling it in work?

Book the cash ticket - you then have a cooling off period of 24 hours

Then book the Avios - if it goes wrong, cancel the cash booking

Yes, I think you’ll need to call BA to book/link the children to your cash booking.

You can't book a child only ticket online, you will need to call up and book.

I've had to do this as booked the adult tickets then added the children on later.
