How soon is a Tier status change reflected on the BA site and app?

Having 2 Golds and 4 Silvers to give away/lose each year it’s not something to really concern me. For the sake of providing accurate information here it would be good to get to the bottom of it. Out of interest, was Master Rapidex’s card gifted manually via the GGL line or did you gift it via MMA on ba.com?
