Running in T5

I’ve got a 4 hour lay over in T5 which gives me the chance for a 15K, shower food and chill out before boarding.

any other runners done this or have any tips?

Are you going to be running up and down the tunnel between T5A-B-C?

Not my scene, but I hear (and can believe) the tunnels to B and C are perfect for a run.

You need Ben Edelman's (@bedelman) guide to running in or near airports: Running In and Around Airports

Is it cheating if you run on the travellators as you head toward b and c?

Not run down thdre but I do sometimes walk for 30 minutes or so down there.

Hiddy might get close to that plus 1 day. Providing he gets a deep fried mars bar at each turn to keep him going

100% - if I don’t run I go mad.

Or worse 4 hours alone in an airport followed by a 12 hour flight will result in me falling off the plane having tried to drink my body weight (in itself not a bad thing but allegedly they need me do some work at the other end)

I would do all of those things..... except I'd leave out the 15K bit.
