Oneworld notice period

Does anyone happen to know how much notice a OW partner has to give? Iím looking at booking QR flights next March - clearly BA TP a factor in the decision, but the rumours of QRís departure arenít going away.

Hopefully they would need to give a years notice and/or OW honour existing bookings at time of announcement...

We have QR bookings for Nov [likewise or TP reasons!] and share you're nervousness. A thread on the QR forum has been discussing this since Oct 18, and the general feeling is 12 months notice.

I suspect that they need to give no notice of intention to leave at all.

QR’s continuing threats to leave oneworld are the subject of an existing thread on their forum, as kindly linked above, so as this isn’t a BA issue please continue to follow the discussion there.
