Did you need to show your physical card or is the app card sufficient?

I was in the Newcastle Brewdog last week and none of the staff knew about the discount.

Will any of this be served in Club Europe?
Speedbird 100 will be in Club Europe, the rest won't.

The first member of staff I spoke to didn't have a clue about the discount either, but his colleague did. I had my card with me so showed that, but I'd like to think that the app card would be sufficient although I can't confirm one way or the other

From a friend on HEL this morning :
Claims to be bitter sweet and it IS bitter but in a grapefruit sense rather than a hoppy bitter. Basically tasted like grapefruit juice mixed with Punk IPA.

Just FYI : Despite being in CE had to purchase from BoB menu as not loaded into CE !! Would have again if served in CE but wouldn't pay Ł4.45 for BoB.

Doesn't seem to be available at the CCR. The bar staff had no idea what a Speedbird IPA was. Hopefully it's loaded on BA31 later today.

Edit: none in GF either.

Is AirCraft in the CCR ?

We are also dialling in a small-batch exclusive beer from the BrewDog OverWorks team for those lucky enough to be travelling in First on British Airways.
AirCraft is a dry-hopped Brett-fermented IPA incorporates the rich fruity esters and flavours from Brettanomyces with the notorious tropical hops of the south pacific for a bold but balanced hop experience

Speedbird 100 IPA is available to buy online from BrewDog, but only for Equity Punks (investors). Ł2.30 a can, with 10% off all purchases this weekend using code MAYDAY.

If it is only available to Equity Punks then they get 20% off all the time anyway.

10% off is for non EFPs

Good to see there are plenty of beer drinkers on the BAEC forum.....a pleasant change from the usual Champagne chatter.

It was served on MAN-LHR (CE) this morning and I quite liked it. I am sat on a delayed BA275 (LAS) and the ‘Air Craft’ is on offer. I’ll try both and review on my arrival.

Sampled it on BA2774 LGW - JER this afternoon. Not unpleasant and the fruity taste comes across quite subtly. CC asked if it was good as they wanted to sample it when they were off duty!
