Interlining with JetBlue

I searched online for BA interlining with JetBlue and found what seemed to be a bunch of press-releases from a few years ago about an interlining agreement. However, when I try to use ITA Matrix to get a connection from a B6 flight onto a BA one, I can only get it onto an IB codeshare, and interline ticked don't show up on either the BA or B6 websites either.

Is the agreement no longer in place, or was it actually not ever in place, despite the news online to the contrary?

I don’t recall there ever being an agreement involving BA but some time ago it was possible to interline bags between AA and Jetblue provided AA didn’t themselves operate the particular route. I’m pretty sure that’s all gone now though.

BA/B6 do still have an interline and e-ticketing agreement, but they might not necessarily participate in any of the fares filed currently.

What route are you looking at; I can check to see what booking codes might be needed.

AA/B6 no longer have an interline agreement.

That makes some sense. I was looking at LAS-LHR via BOS, with the LAS-BOS leg on B6.

Not sure why the BA fare is missing the booking code information for B6, but it would prevent the fare from quoting.

That's amazing detective work, thanks. I really need to spend some time learning about fare rules. Wonder if the lack of booking codes is deliberate or an oversight? I'd like to be able to connect onto BA238 (although not at the current prices, so hopefully when a discounted fare gets filled, they'll remember ).
