check in counter hours iad?
Does anyone know what time the check in counter at iad opens? I have checked the ba web site. the ba dashboard. and searched this forum with no success. If someone can direct me to the right place I would appreciate it.

My last IAD was in September 2016, on our 'usual' BA216. The board on the unmanned desks said opening at 1530, but the reality was fist staffer at 1430. I'm pretty sure I've worked to the 1430 timing for some years, but of course it may have changed again recently.
My guess would be that the use of the A380 on BA216 gives the staff a few extra pax/bags to process, so the earlier time makes sense to me.
