Reporting live from BA179 (as it has WiFi)

i like the new glasses and cuttlery, but check this out - PINK STEAK! And that’s not even a good photo.

Never thought it it would happen, but finally good beef on BA

I also had the beef in F on the KUL / LHR flight this week and it was med rare and delicious. My wife and I loved the new F service

Pink steak - luck or judgment?

I’ve only ever had one pink steak on BA, years ago on a flight to HOU.

Does anyone in the know (@Can I help you; or @Welcome On Board perhaps?), know whether or not these new pink steaks is as a result of revised process / instruction, or just a coincidence that it’s happened on a a couple of recent flights?

The last 5 steaks I’ve had on BA have all been medium and tender, and that’s without asking the crew to follow the @Filthy Monkey method ^

It’s down to luck and in some cases (very few) the skill of the galley operator.

Would be very disappointed if I was served less.

That is indeed a very generous pour!

The pudding looks a bit like something a 5 year-old made though...

Great to read and see so much about the new product here. About to fly my first First to ATL later this week and very excited to say the least. I’ve tried to find as much info as possible on here to maximise the experience and want to pre-order mains for both myself and Mrs P but she’s a little indecisive. We have the same menu as the original poster; does anyone have pictures of the Ravioli or the chicken? I’ve tried to find the info on other threads and can see pictures from the Concorde room menus but not the more recent in flight options.

thanks in advance

Well, this post of mine from last year shows what has always been possible with BA, as long as the crew are just a little gentle with the timing of the beef ...

Although it appears the chef has put some thought into it, my hunch is he is an admirer of certain feminine curves!
