Does Oneworld Connect count? If so one could possibly have some fun using the International Dateline on Fijian...

Some airlines do - essentially - stopping services. Various flights in C America do lots of stops in MGA, SJO, SAL, PTY etc.

Not OneWorld, but that may work out the best way to do this. Might be some other archipelago multi-island options somewhere too (Carribean?)

My vote goes for the United Island Hopper. I know it doesn´t fit the rules as not Oneworld and for most of the stops I don´t think you can get off.

But I just always wanted to do it.

Got to earn avios and TPs. Rules is rules, and we can't go swanning off Island Hopping willy nilly. Would be anarchy.

I'm just going to have a crack at an intra-Europe one. Quite fancy actually flying it.

Do layovers count as an airport? I can do:
DCA-PH: 5:50 - 6:47
PHL-CHS-CLT: 8:02- 10:25 - 12:26
CLT-DFW: 13:05 - 14:54
DFW-DEN-PHX: 16:26 - 17:33 - 19:35
PHX-LAX: 20:21 - 21:55

Stopped there because I used Google Flights, but I'm I'm sure I could get up to SFO and probably on to SEA before 24 hours up.

Though I'd sooner take a cross-country ride in a yellow school bus filled with raw sewage than take that many AA flights in a single day.

While it wasn't back to back, I did BCN-MAD-JFK-PHL-CLT-MCO-MIA-SKB with my wife and 2 kids (who were 3 and 6 at the time) in J as part of a TP Holiday a few years ago. Needless to say, I have a very tolerant wife!

Not going to attempt this now, but I think it would be interesting to add the rule that the trip start and end in the same city (if not the same airport) within 24 hours. This would remove any time zone shenanigans.
