Posting pics of people on the internet to shame their behaviour isn't exactly a shining beacon of decorum though, is it?

San Gottardo Mar 26, 2019 7:26 am

A sight all too common across airline lounges of the world, unfortunately.

There, but for the grace of god, go I

I doubt, had he been sitting alone, that anyone would have deigned to sit beside him unless it was Jersey Fog busy. However if his shoes had been off...

nor is putting your feet on the sofa when wearing shoes, but at least me posting a “shaming” photo on the internet was a conscious decision.

But ... neither his feet nor his shoes are on the sofa. Only his ankles/socks. Cut the guy some slack, he might have been to EDI/DUS/GIB. ;)

A forum member recuperating after coming off a long haul flight in WT.

I've a pretty definitive line here: soles of shoes is the rubicon. Ankle leather is OK. And airports have forever been a place to put your feet up, literally. Shoes off, however, a sin that can never be forgiven in such surroundings.

Nobody from this Forum would do that ... they know they will be publically shamed. ;)

For feet up or for not knowing they could have UUA'd to WTP?

Was in the T3 F lounge last week and all the sofas by the window in the 'bar' area were nose to tail sleepers!

I should had added he had been rolling around prior to this pose, no doubt reliving that nightmare journey. At least he wasn’t snoring.

Unless every other couch is taken I see no problem with this.

Really? Do you think it's ok for Janet, who is going on her first holiday in two years to sit on the same sofa with her arm resting where this selfish mans feet once were.

Janet is wearing white and this top is now dirty = life ruined!

Do you think Janet thinks it's acceptable to have shoes on the arm of a pubic sofa?

LCY8737 Mar 26, 2019 8:53 am

I'm not a big fan of the underside of shoes touching the same surfaces that my bare skin touches. At the same time, taking pictures of people to post on the Internet is just rude...
