No mini hamper for me...then again I'm a lowly Gold. I guess I will just have to create my own hamper from the provisions available in GF

I just got my email and I'm a lowly silver (only managed gold for 2 years) so can't be based on what colour your card is. Will see what the letter says when I get the gift.

A small token of appreciation

Has anyone else got an email from BAEC recently like below?

Hello, it’s your Executive Club Team here, we hope you’re well.

We’re reaching out to let you know that you’ve achieved a significant milestone whilst travelling with the British Airways Executive Club.

We don’t want to spoil the surprise, but in celebration of this impressive achievement – and as a thank you for your continued loyalty – we would like to send you a gift.

You will soon be contacted by our partner, Tordoffs Wines and Hampers, who would like to confirm your address and organise delivery of your gift on the Club’s behalf.

We hope you are excited about receiving your gift, but if you would rather decline on this occasion, please just let us know by replying to this email within the next 7 days.

Once again, thank you for your loyalty. We hope you look forward to finding out more.
Not sure what milestone I have hit, it's not GFL or yearly anniversary. Interested also to know what the gift is? or whether the email is real.

Insights welcome

Nothing here although I've recently reached GFL, for which I received an email which talked about reaching Gold Guest List. I'd have thought that was a significant milestone, but apparently not

Qualification for the gift is based on flown mileage.

So I received my "small token of appreciation" this morning, and honestly am quite impressed. The "small token" is a nice hamper basket including cheese, chocolates, & wine.

Contents -

Bath Soft Cheese (250g)
Cropwell Bishop Blue Stilton (200g)
Dorset Drum Mature Farmhouse Cheddar (400g)
House of Dorchester British Chocolate Selection (150g)
British Airways Bespoke Chocolate Selection (Tordoffs) - Also includes a personalised chocolate with surname printed on it.
Chateau Coutinel Fronton 2016 (1500ml)
Walnut, Honey, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Crackers (125g)
Sea Salt & luxury Pepper Crisps (150g)
Rosebud Preserves Spiced Plum Chutney (198g)
BAEC Cheese Board with Leather Handles.
Wicker Hamper basket with Leather Handles.

All in all very impressed, especially as it was completely unexpected. The personalisation (name on chocolates & personal letter included) was a nice touch also. The hamper basket & cheese board will go to good use in this household. Thank you BA, I will be sending in my thanks via email also.

That's a pretty cool gift.

I have no chance of reaching such lofty heights so am very pleased to live vicariously through more frequent travellers
