For the flight crew I imagine it’ll be last minute ish. Probably to be expected with new type. I know someone who will have flights in September. Route not confirmed.
The cabin crew will have their schedules. It’ll just be showing as A321 to MAD. Aircraft type and frame can swap. They will still be off to MAD. Will have no bearing on when they start.

If its going to Chateauroux it will be scheduled for 3 or 4 days. The last thing anybody wants is attempting training flights in a 30 knot crosswind.

I'm currently in dilemma on a good opportunity to potentially get into Club on YYZ routing in late Oct.
Have to travel to Dallas for work and looking at a slightly less conventional route out of MAN-LHR-YYZ-DFW. It works quite well landing at YYZ at 1545 with the AA flight to DFW leaving at something like 1830.
The downside is the 3hr20 flight from YYZ to DFW on an AA737, then there's double immigration though I do have Global Entry for US.
Never flown to US via Canada so don't want to get caught out by some unknown quantity, on the face of it the draw of A350 and new Club Suite is winning the argument.
Return would be more conventional routing only as far as LHR, probably DFW - Ord then the AA787 day flight to LHR.

That front cabin looks like a new take on the flying dorm. At least there is aisle access for all, but what happened to Cruz's "keeping premium cabins small" or something like that?

Well they couldn't really put the galley anywhere else than at door 2. I'm guessing 16-17A and hope for 2 airbridges when you disembark? That's a really private cabin.

I agree the distance between doors makes splitting up cabins while maximizing space utilization more difficult for sure, but there are options. I'm a bit disappointed to see another flying dorm.

So I'm reading something wrong. What is the green CK at door 2? Club Kitchen?
Edit:I'm starting to see what CIHY is pointing out. Hell indeed. At least there seem to be separations in front of 15 and behind 17. These might become the coveted seats (as long as you pre-book you meal)!

I must have missed that WTP is 2-4-2. Is that set to be the tightest WTP configuration in BA's fleet so far? One more seat across than the 787 (12cm narrower cabin) and the A380 (19cm wider cabin), same amount of seats across as the 777 (25cm wider cabin), and the 747 (47cm wider cabin).

This is just so BA isn’t it? They’d have to find a way to make it a complex cluster before they even start. I’m awaiting all of the treads about how service has suffered and the crew find it “so hard” serving WT+ from the back galley.
