Overall I think the new seat looks great, but I'm waiting to try the seat as I generally find reverse herringbone seats to not be comfortable due to overly firm seats. That said it will be quite a while before I expect to see this seat on my more common routes. And I still think 62/64 A/K on a refurbed F aircraft will be difficult to beat even if the average club suite is quite a bit better than the current club world seating.

That's excellent news. Haven't seen pics of the footwells yet, so let's hope they are spacious.

Because nothing compares to the openness and the feel of space with the current CW seat. Not to mention how comfortable the CW seat is for sleeping. I don't like the AA Super Diamond seat on its B772 as it is rather difficult to get into and out of (trying to squeeze into the seat is no different than having to lift your leg to get into a CW window seat), and it is rather hard, plus the whole 'your body goes under the seat in front' thing. It's just something I dislike. That being said, I am not actively avoiding any particular seat. It's just a seat. But I would gladly take a CW seat with limited storage over the new seat with plenty of storage because that's how much I hate it when your body goes under the seat in front. I guess it's similar when many people actively avoid bulkhead seats on shorthaul because of the limited legroom, which I could not care less about as I really like the same feel of openness and space these seats provide.

I have now had a good play around in the seat and tried all the buttons, ask away if you have any questions.

Did you find any detritus in the cubby holes?

My concern is how hard are the seats cushions?
Are they comparable to the NGCW seat which I find very comfortable.

Also does the shoulder belt tuck away nicely so not to disturb when not in use?

Seat comfort wise I would say that it is as firm as the current seat, I found it very comfortable, the seat didn’t have any seat belts fitted so sorry I am unable to answer that question.

The one thing which seems to be lacking, is individual a/c vents. Several cw flights have been ruined by being too hot. That would be real game changer.

Not sure how tall you are CIHY but if you are over 6 feet tall and tried the bed, was there plenty of length for you?

I literally couldn't agree anymore!

Given how many complaints they receive on this I'm surprised they couldn't make it work with vents. Honestly how hard could it be?
