IAD pre-flight dining pretty poor

In the lounge right now ahead of BA 216 and the options are totally underwhelming. Szechuan chicken or char Siiu pork, but no rice with either?? Just some very very greasy looking roti bread which they claim (even more bizarrely) are tacos. So I went for the salmon and sweet potato burgers which are dry as sawdust (saved by the mushy peas) and have zero flavour of salmon. Lol

I was there three weeks ago and had the Impossible Burger which you have to order from the attendant. I figured I'd give it a try since I've read about it in the news. It wasn't half bad. The buffet selections looked pretty good though when I glanced at them. Shame they don't seem to be up to par tonight.

Actually they’re calling them Jian Biang crepes, but they are definitely rotis. And the Slavic lady who serves the food counter is just delightful, really sweet.

I was a bit stuck choosing in Concorde Dining, so ended up ordering stuff next door and bringing it through, including the burger!
I like the American woman /server in the F dining area.
