Maybe slightly different, but Mrs GM had a Y-J op-up on AA (LHR-CLT) last month on a 125 ticket. In MMB it showed the J seat number but stated Economy. Her statement lists the sector as J/V, though with the correct 35 TPs.

Are you looking at the app? IIRC, this is commonly reported on the app. Never trust the app.
