I can't remember if it was Willie or Alex who said a couple of years ago that the paying F passengers were commenting that F was no longer as premium because there were (paraphrasing badly) 'too many staff travel and too many rewards' available, In the words of FT 'too many tesco tourists'
So the remedy is in BAs hands - restrict staff travel in F and increase the avios needed for an outright redemption and for upgrades or just limit the number of seats available for rewards Of course that shouldn't happen until I've cashed in my avios for an F trip
I've not seen an ex INV F fare for Ł1800 in quite some time, It's my first search when pricing a trip as it really is a bargain - if anf when it appears. Though my routes are to the US so others may have better luck going to other parts of the world.

The controls are already with BA to restrict redemptions, they can choose whether or not there are any seats released. I have had a couple of flights where there were no already booked passengers in First but no redemption availability. Obviously BA anticipated being able to sell the seats.

Is it accurate to say that you mean: If my company paid for my business travels, I credit the points / miles earned to my personal account , I CANNOT REDEEM them for PERSONAL travel ?
Have you traveled on company paid tickets ?

The examples in the Cambridge English Dictionary appear to prefer the latter.

To stay on topic, all F cabins should be stocked with an unabridged dictionary, preferably from Cambridge.

Apologies for the OT correction, AF F can be booked by any FB member above the basic explorer level (Silver, Gold, Platinum). The real barrier is the insane amount of miles required (200K+ for one way!) and the very limited award availability
