I too had 2 very disappointing long haul economy flights last week in an exit row on the A380 with theoretical seating kicking in. Food was very good at LHR and the worst part was waiting 8 seconds at the first wing before I was waved through as i had to go landside for a short time. A very unbelievable long wait.

Got the Gold greeting on both long haul legs, glasses of LPGS galore, personal welcome by CSL and CSD on outbound and CSL on way back with very genuinely friendly crews, typically always the same on long haul.

Group boarding on the 4 sectors was poor as I really wanted to moan about it on here but Group 1 was strictly enforced.

Despite doing quite a few Y or W flights as well as a splurge of J and F flights last year and 2017 I will continue to pursue a service which is poor and reported by thouands every few days/weekly on Flyertalk.

BTW, I paid 450 to experience all that!!!

must be, no one has ever seriously described the rough, thin, ratty CW blanket as "lush."

Ive heard they sometimes switch Lambrusco for LPGS in F.

What a great post! I can only relate to the OP's experience given how shockingly disappointing all of my CW flights have been.

Answer - don't use the sodding airline in the first place.

I don't really know or care what trolling means ( I thought that is what loads of male off-duty crew got up to - according to galley gossip) but I was delighted with this refreshingly different spin. I am bored stiff by all these people who have such dreadful experiences that they feel inclined to write/moan/whine about it here (are these Trolls?). As someone said don't use the airline (I'm far too ladylike to use his full macho expression). This was like a breath of fresh air. I think that in one post he or she has parodied and satarised brilliantly the tedious " look how little me suffered giving me thimbles of Champgane (maybe it was German Fizzwater mascarading). I am bored witless with these self appointed Critics of the Skies (one in particular who seems to think that his boring self-opinionated opinions matter).

No, I adore this In fact, I'm making him a Mucci - if he will accept. Reason? Originality.

Whilst we're about it I'd like SoupDragon62 as a Mucci as well as she is so on my wave length.

Cointreau eh. That'll ease my forthcoming YVR trip no end. No sprite though!. Thanks.
