Help me with a special mission?

Hi All,

I have one day off in Pittsburgh on the 13th March. I need to get to PHL to pick up a special ring.....

I would like to also maximise tp's as I am almost gold but not quite....

Need to leave after 10am and land back before 10pm.

Can anyone help?

Thank you.

To get that many tier points in 12 hours you would need to do three sectors in first class

There are indirect options but on a quick glance you won't make your 10am to 10pm requirements. If you could leave on the AA749 and 7:56am you could come back on the 801/2315 via ORD and earn 120 tier points for $514 giving you a little over 3 hours in PHL.

That sounds intriguing. Sadly I’m overnight by road from Kentucky and won’t be in Pittsburgh in time for the 7.46 flight

thank you though!

I can get 160 TPs for £363 ($464) and just within the timetable: the 10:40 direct to PHL arriving 11:58. But then departing at 12:45 via BOS and LGA back, arriving at 20:00 hrs.

Alternatively if departing PIT at 09:48 is acceptable, then going via DCA and the BOS gets to PHL at 18:04, depart on the direct service back at 20:40 for arrival at 21:58. Same cost, also 160 TPs.

Thank you so much!

Sadly I think the first option is no good because I will have no time to go get the ring.

The second option gets me there too late.

Amazing replies though. This forum is wonderful!
