Bermuda BA2233

Does anyone know what's going on with the Bermuda service. I was due to travel on BA2232 BDA to LGW today, Wed 13th however it's been cancelled as the outbound BA2233 from London was cancelled. I couldn't accept the alternative flight given as BA's website was playing up, would you believe it, meaning I had to call the Gold Line who rebooked me on tomorrow's BA2232! That flight is now also showing delayed with no ETA of departure as tomorrow's outbound BA2233 from LGW is already showing a delay. Yesterday's flight operated however with a delay. Im not inspired with much confidence Thursday's fight will be operating!

Thank you KVS. I assume the same aircraft is also scheduled to operate the flight on 14th which explains why it's shown a delay all day. Oh well, there could be worse places to be stuck in I guess. ;-)

Indeed. And especially with BA’s duty of care + €600 compensation...

If you want to get off the island, I would simply ask BA to rebook on AA via JFK.

Agreed - you have until early afternoon to get to the USA to get a connecting flight. However I think it is unheard of for BA not to service the island for two (unscheduled) days in a row. If I am wrong and you are still here I will happily buy you a drink.

Thanks all. When I spoke to them this morning they were reluctant to re-route me via JFK today, even although I'm in F. It wasn't too great a hardship for me to spend one more night on the island so I didn't push. Looks like the unspecified delay to Thursday's flight though has been resolved as it's now back to an on time departure. Hopefully it stays that way.
