Just checked in for my flight EDI-LHR for tomorrow in euro traveller Silver status and it’s showing group 1 boarding. Is this an IT error can anyone enlighten me ??

You've not been upgraded to CE perhaps or is it showing ET and Group 1?

Ah well, you'll be on first then!

Is that on a paper BP or on the App?

Has your seat number changed? If you’re upgraded the boarding pass often (almost always) still shows your original cabin but with a seat number in CE.

Erm... You might want to crop that barcode out for security reasons!

Interestingly the chap standing in front of me on Wednesday evening's 21:00 LHR - GLA had the same thing, he was a silver travelling by himself in ET with group 1 on the boarding pass.

Is it simply based on numbers? As in a minimum of 10% are in group 1. If CE and Gold only make up 9% then some Silvers (based on CIV hopefully) will fill in the gap.

Efficiency of boarding wise it would be stupid to call a group/ devote time to a group that would leave a hole in boarding numbers

Makes sense, the Group 1 queue was pretty short.
