Well done cws. That’s a story the little girl will long remember. You’re a star!

Somewhere along the line though I lost track of how cws ended up being in the position to personally deliver the teddy? Was he just making a trip to Newcastle by coincidence?

If there was ever a reason to join Flyertalk, this thread epitomises the use that it has. What a great ending.

One thing that irritates me tho...your teddy can travel better than you

The last few hours of the thread reiterate how a tiny bit of effort can generate so much warmth and with a bit of ingenious social media skills could have leveraged BA some great PR. The most important thing is teddy is home and daddy off the hook.

Just picked up on this in Spain. Wondering why there was a thread with over 200 posts, so thought I would have a quick look and read every post...CWS is a super hero but we all know that anyway As others have said, what FT is all about - heart warming story for a Sunday morning.

Just catching up and found this thread. A fantastic outcome & a reminder that despite all the negativity humans can also be very kind. Great job by CWS and also good to see that the lost property system worked.

In one of the posts CWS said that he was travelling through LHR on several occasions and offered up his services for repatriation

This is one grand tale of a little teddy. A brilliant reminder that what makes BA legendary is not just their crews and planes but their passengers too. CWS, thank you so so much for this beautiful act of kindness.
