Having now seen all four liveries in photos next to each other, Landor definitely stands out followed closely by BOAC. I’m a bit ‘meh’ with the other two and slightly disappointed we didn’t get a BCal 744.

Totally agree. The Landor livery on the 744 was such a perfect match. I was lucky boarding my flight home to Toronto on Friday to see the BOAC one parked at one the gates at T5C and it looked very good and then the BEA Airbus landed as I was looking out of the terminal. So saw 2 of the new liveries in a matter of minutes. I saw the Negus 744 peeking out of the hangar when I was taking off on Thursday as well. So a pretty good couple of days of seeing the retro liveries

I was having a coffee in the sun this afternoon in east London and I spotted Negus coming in from Las Vegas, sadly I wasn't quick enough to snap a pic, but it wouldn't have been a match for the ones allturnleft posted above anyway!

I saw Negus yesterday afternoon parked up at T3 as I was landing, it was scheduled to operate to CPT. airways offends my eye just as much as it did when this scheme was the norm.
So I only need to see BEA now and the set is complete, no doubt that will evade me for months to come!

Was the table still a bit dodgy? Apparently it had been rescrewed in but it was a little bit of a bodge job as the FA had to force it down when i took it to SFO.

lucky you didn’t have one of the centre pair in row 14, the IFE screen wouldn’t stay locked forward.

Several times over the last few weeks the BEA livery G-EUPJ was supposed to operate my LBA flight, only for it to be swapped out at the last minute. I ended up begining to believe someone at BA was trolling me! Anyway it finally made it's first visit to LBA this evening and I was on the southbound flight. My first time on the new livery.
The ground staff were all really excited as well and see the twitter link at the bottom ofr one who has some good apron level photos.
Video from a local
And photos from one of the ground staff
