The aircraft is now live on FR24 (with an interesting map shift). It looks like she's about to take off. Unless she's only posing for photos at the moment - not easy to tell exactly where she is with that map shift.

Actually, you might want to start at 1:48:30 - it was nice of ATC to have managed what they did.

Ut aquila versus coelum

Heathrow Airport posted a short video of the landing of G-CIVB in Negus livery, on its Facebook page.
(For some reason, the link doesn't appear in my post, no matter how I type it):

It might be correct to the original, but the lower case "a" grates!

The 'a' is correct but the titles are too high. Great job otherwise.

Hmm...

In my order of liking them:

1 - BOAC
2 - Landor
3 - Negus

Hope whichever one is the Super Hi-J is on my JFK!

I agree on Negus being #3 in the list. Am totally torn between BOAC and Landor though. Both look great, let's just put them 1=

I see you'have all forgotten BEA, which has caused a frisson of excitement here in NCL where it has just landed. Staff are taking photos (and one off duty staff member had a Face-time feed set up for him!).

Which means I will shortly have flown 2 of the 4, BEA and BOAC, and I've seen Landor close up. But I don't have many 747s in the next month or so, as things stand, so I wonder who will be first to have flown the quad?

i have you as odds-on favourite with my local Bookie. What’s £10 in a good cause?

Some lucky sod who isn't into planes and doesn't even know what they've been on.
