Very hard landing 😮
Now it might just be a stretch to renew GGL this year ( I always say this and I always manage it) but this email I’ve just received looks like a very hard and unexpected landing 😀

Should I sulk more for not getting an email from BA today, or for being hypothetically hard landed to Blue if had received such an email?

Just spoke to BA’s Twitter team, there were unaware of this, they’ve now reported it with the URL to this thread to demonstrate it has been a widespread issue.

Same issue here and I have enough TPs already to renew current status. I think I had the same type of email last month which also stated Blue... but don’t really care!

We had the same thing a month or so ago when the sale was announced originally. I don't see @navylad and @DoctorCopper as being insecure as suggested above. It is clearly a system or coding issue extracting marketing material from the database, and some people have decided to let BA know about it because, in my view, it does reflect badly on BA. Nothing wrong with trying to help our favourite airline get it right.

I deleted the email as I thought it might be a fishing attempt post the data hack. It has just enough correct personal data to look viable but has a (significant?) error in 'branding'. I'm not bothered about status recognition but if it's going to be wrong it worries my suspicious mind!
