Current methods to check fare/booking class availability:
If you are requesting flight load / class availability, please provide the following:
1. Actual travel date (don't say tomorrow, or similar, as that is ambiguous given the global flyertalk membership)
2. Departure and arrival airport codes
3. Flight number
Thanks!

Club and PE are about half full from the seat map, but remember only those with appropriate status get to chose their seats at any particular point in time. Certainly cannot tell anything about Y really other than they are willing to sell 9 or more seats! Once you are within 7 days of the flight things might be a bit clearer. Of course those with knowledge of the historical loads on this route might me able to interpret and extrapolate the data more than I can with zero experience.

It's always helpful if you can provide source and destination airports because most of us don't have all the flight numbers fully memorized, so we have to look that up in order to do a load query (at least using the tools I am familiar with!)

Thank you Gustav. I'm keen to buy an AUP from WTP to CW... Do you think these numbers may indicate this will be available (apologies if this is a bit of a daft question, and I know it probably doesn't have a definitive answer)?

Hard to say. From the looks of it, J9 might mean they are prepared to roll forward into F and there might not be that many CW seats left. They may well offer an AUP, but just ask at check-in. I hope it works out.

There are plenty more experienced than me to comment on this!

Yep likewise... I've never bought an AUP before so it's all a bit of a mystery to be honest! Thanks again for your help

Looks quite empty down the back seeing as they're still prepared to sell 9 seats in G.
Given that F looks quite full (max 2 seats available), I'd be inclined to see WTP does actually have 5 seats left available and CW is fairly light.

They may well still sell you an upgrade - certainly it's worth asking. But note that they almost certainly don't NEED to sell you one - as there won't be much forward movement, based on those numbers.

Wozza - thank you very interesting. The WTP seat map is completely full, I guess some seats protected?

Ill certainly ask about an AUP, you never know. Im kicking myself a bit when I booked the ticket the CW cost wasnt too bad, I should have just grabbed it then. Oh well you live and learn!
