NOTE, this wiki may have some broken links, so please bear with us for a week or do until we get round to the less than glamorous task of checking them all.

This thread gives the current catering options for the LHR T5 Concorde Room (all day) and First Dining Room within the LHR T3 Galleries First lounge (after 18:30). Eligible passengers include BA First ticket holders, Premier and Concorde Room cardholders. The catering in both lounges is supplied by BaxterStorey, who took over the contract on 2 May 2013.

The current catering options in the LHR CCR can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. In addition, there are a selection of
- bar snacks, details found in post 7 or you can click here
- teas list, details found in post 68 or you can click here
- drinks list, details found in post 69 or you can click here
- cocktails list, details in this separate thread click here

There are also photo guides (updated with October menus) which you can see in the following linked posts:

Already seeing the menu in @KARFA 's post upthread a couple of days ago, I caught up with it again now, when verdicts are flowing in on the new items.

I'm not sure what the implications are of the explicit description of parts of the asparagus dish. It's said to be served with a poached hens egg.

Are we to understand that other eggs on the menu have a different origin? Is there a choice option between species?

Well, one of the current F menu items comes with a duck's egg, and there have been a number of items over the years (both in the CCR and onboard) coming with a quail egg...

OK, I thought this was a thread discussing the updated present CCR menu. In the present CCR menu , I fail to see any duck's or quail egg. On the breakfast menu, however, there are many egg items (scrambled, soft-poached and boiled), without specification of species

The point is that the menu surprisingly enough defines the item as a hen's egg. The majority of CCR guests, would probably take for granted that any menu dish containing egg/s, they would be from a hen, whereas other types of egg/s, be it duck, quail, albatross or ostrich, would be specified.

Would it be easier to understand if I insert some explanatory words in the last paragraph?

Now that's one I'd certainly love to try!

Yep, not sure what's the specific rationale but while breakfast eggs seem to be "assumed" to be laid by good old hens (and in fairness, they always are), they now seem to specify "hen eggs" for other meals, not just in the CCR but in all their menus (last month's J smoked salmon starter came with a "half hen egg"). Maybe it's meant to sound more fashionable or something whoever is currently in charge of menus likes for any reason, but it seems to me to be a BA labelling trend in their current menus.

Thank you to megaloman yesterday for his efforts in taking photos ^

I have everything now apart from the new curry on the lounge menu and I will try that myself tomorrow.

Corn chowder soup of the day

Can only add another soup of the day, which is corn chowder. Mrs O enjoyed it. I had most the ribeye, was good and Master O decided he wanted some of mine on top of his BA burger...he also pronounced himself satisfied, and hes pretty discerning about steak.
