Flies on food in the F Lounge

Noticed several flies buzzing around and landing on the scones and cakes.

Should some covers be invested in?

Have let the staff know, let’s see what they do about it.

Other than one waft of the hand to wave the flies away, the food and the flies are still there.

Those scones look scrumptious.

As for the flies...I'd be more concerned about them being contaminated by the hands of the public.

If anyone deserves unfettered access to the F lounge, it’s surely these little chaps. They fly more frequently than any of us here on FT.

A little OT, but we have some of these little flies buzzing around the office at the moment.

I thought they all died out when the summer was over, global warming?!?

Very off putting. Happened to me in Arrivals, left and went to Costa instead.

I have seen them before too. No wonder. It is always so hot in there. Even if it is off putting I don‘t care too much. Get this at home too.

Did they chat their way into the F lounge in an unacceptable manner?

Flies not great, but worse is the vermin who takes this much food, doesn't finish it and leaves it half eaten. Must be a good few kilos food half chewed. They even left full plates uneaten. Took this photo right now in Barcelona partner lounge of BA. I understand food is free, but just take what you can eat. The cleaner doing best to keep up
