And yes, show us the new CW seat...has an A350 seat map not appeared in the wild yet?
Expected when the first routes are announced

As a person with no BA status and one who doesn’t fly enough to get any, the only reason for me to fly BA is the Amex 2-4-1 companion voucher.

The WTP improvements are very much needed and I will be keen to see what they are!

I’m off to price up the odds with my online bookie as to which of these benefits I will actually experience this year.

Yeah most exciting for me are the WTP improvements.

When I read this what immediately came to mind was that it was referring to was things that were originally just on avios.com but now on BA Exec Club like Caffe Nero.

Hopefully though your instinct is better than mine.

Given the very old fleet the odds of realising nimber 3 is low.

If you want new aircraft try emirates, Norwegian and easyjet!

Regarding WiFi on shorthaul, has any date been mentioned yet? I understood they were still waiting for regulatory approval.

There already is a BA A350 in detail here.

I feel a little bad being critical of this point as I think there are some good things in this list as a whole.

But a little suprised about this one:
  • It is surely just a reminder about lack of preparedness for the snow chaos last year;
  • I would hope most of this investment is now in place given we are now back in winter and there has been months to learn lessons (this could be just an issue with the tenses here, and this has already happened);
  • BA could have been more honest at the time that they didn’t have enough kit when IIRC they were very quiet and somewhat pressing the blame on HAL. And in doing so should have paid EU compensation claims with many less quibbles (I believe they have now loss their argument about extraordinary circumstances now in court so claims should be being paid?)

I think we should dispense with the overly critical/disparaging comments (some of them rightly justified), as I for one have fingers and toes crossed that BA does actually pull out some of the proposed improvements out. The biggest (and most critical) is the new J product, to bring the current offering up to something rivaling the leaders in the market.

I truly hope it is a good year for BA.

Here are 19 reasons which might really encourage new customers but we're probably not going to hear
1. Genuine January Sale with Scandinavian prices but ex LHR
2. New routes from regional airports, MAN-SIN, BHX-JFK etc
3. New First Class Terminal
4. First Class ticket includes Limousine boarding / transfers
5. Brand New less dense First Class cabin
6. Sufficient First Class meal choices will be loaded
7. Business Class ticket includes (free) Seat Assignment
8. Sufficient Business Class meal choices loaded
9. Sufficient Business Class midflight snacks loaded
10. Sufficient Business class Champagne and Wine/Beer choices loaded
11. Brand New Club Europe Seat, more plush and with better spacing
12. Priority bags delivered first
13. Improved economy catering / hot meals
14. Improved economy seat and spacing
15. City check-in at Paddington station
16. New West London Air Terminal with baggage check-in, security, and free bus directly airside
17. BA will adopt the AA award chart
18. Award surcharges will be removed
19. BA's Conformance-Goons to be redeployed to actually help latecomers to catch their flight, rather than spitefully offloading them

I'm using one of the wife's cast off Notebooks from the dark ages and haven't had any problem with the site.
Just over a grand for a EZE-GLA WT+ return fare in March/April I see. Best price I've seen in ages. ^
