Very limited availability unfortunately
Nice one. Similar prices available for most west coast cities, it would appear, if you're flexible. LAX, SFO, SJC, PDX (via SEA), and SEA are all hovering around £1400-1500 too. Seeing these fares fairly widely available for April through August.

FRA-HKG via LHR for EUR1806 (or £1546) in J, fare basis INCEU28. This may well have been around earlier, but the fare rules say you need to book by 21Mar19.

Earlier posts/threads about INCEU28 (and my reading of the fare rules now) indicate that a routing via e.g. SIN would be ok. However, the LHR-SIN legs book into R and make the fare significantly higher. Am I reading the fare rules incorrectly? (I class would have plenty of availability)

The simpler and cheaper routing would be:

Is it an availability issue?

You used to be able to route those through SIN. It is no longer the case.

I'd guess that the routing is no longer permitted, the same as on the published INCEU60 and INCEU28 fares.

Sigh, thank you for your quick responses.

And I thought Category 9: Transfer restrictions in INCEU28 fare rules still looked so promising:
5 TRANSFERS PERMITTED IN EACH DIRECTION FREE
2 FREE IN EUROPE IN EACH DIRECTION
3 FREE IN [...] S.W. PACIFIC/SOUTHEAST ASIA EXCEPT CHINA IN
EACH DIRECTION.

For HKG fares Germany does seem to be the best place to start atm. Some good b2b options with HAM and TXL as well.

In this case you need to look at the routing table (it is the routing table that has also been restricted for AMS-BKK too, not the stopover rules). Both INCEU60 and INCEU28 fares state:

MAP CONSTRUCTED LEFT TO RIGHT AND RIGHT TO LEFT
1. HAM-LON-HKG
There is no possibility to route via SIN or KUL.

Many thanks KARFA. I guess EF does not provide access to routing tables?

It does, but it may very well be that the maximum mileage permitted is lower than before, sadly.

As far as I can see, these are routed fares - so MPM is irrelevant.

Doh, I never noticed this, as fare rules seemed to answer all questions.

Just to flag that QR have good fares to HKG ex-ARN at the moment, for a similar cost to the BA fares ex-Germany but the bonus of the extra tier points (140x4 as opposed to (40+140)x2) - plus the bonus of Q Suites to HKG, based on the seatmaps for flights in October that I booked last week.

Is it just me or is INCEU60 gone? Need to do EU-Thailand and burn a GUF in the process but AMS-LHR-HKG-CNX/HKT and even AMS-LHR-BKK in CW are +2000€ INCEU28s in Aug/Sep.
